First up we have the Realme X. This phone is one of the most awaited phones we have on our list of Upcoming Smartphones in India. We already know the phone is launched in China a few days ago and it is all set to launch in India in the last week of June. Madhav Seth, the CEO of Realme India has already confirmed that and also added that this phone might have an exclusive Indian version. Realme is planning to have an Indian version in terms of color as well apart from the Garlic and Onion. The price of the device should be around Rs. 18,000.
Realme X packs Snapdragon 730 coupled with 4GB or 6GB of RAM and 64GB or 128 GB of internal storage. The Snapdragon 730 is for the Indian market and the Chinese version of the phone has the snapdragon 710 SoC. On the rear, we have a 48MP + 5MP camera while the front has a 16MP camera which pops out when needed. The phone comes with a 6.5-inch FHD+ display without any notch or punch hole and we will get a full view display with little or no bezels, thanks to the Popup selfie camera. RealMe X is equipped with a 3765 mAh battery with the support of the VOOC 3.0 charge.
REDMI K 20 SERIES
Launched already in China the Redmi Flagship K 20 series is all set for India Launch next month. Xiaomi launched this smartphone called ‘flagship killer 2.0’ with the name of K 20 but in India, it is expected to be launched as the Poco F2. It has been a while since Xiaomi started teasing the K20 in India and called it the New Flagship killer. Standing on its promise to provide the Snapdragon 855 at a much lower price the phone packs other killer features as well.
Another phone which is scheduled to be launched in India in June is the entry-level phone Redmi 7A. We have already seen many rumors about the phone and it is almost confirmed that the phone is set to launch in India. The device comes with a 5.45 HD+ display. On the rear, we have a 13MP camera while an 8MP camera is housed on the front.
The Redmi 7A is packed with 2 GHz Snapdragon 439 chipset paired with 2GB or 3GB of RAM and 16GB or 32GB of internal storage. It is fuelled with a 4000 mAh battery. Other features include the fingerprint scanner at the back, face unlock and Redmi 7A runs MIUI 10 based on Android 9 Pie and supports storage expansion via microSD card (up to 256GB).
Honor 20 Series
Next up in the list Upcoming Smartphones in India is the Honor 20 series phones and it is scheduled to launch in India on June 11th. The phone is already launched in London and the first look at the phones is impressive.
Honor 20 Pro
The Honor 20 series has three phones lined up. First, we have the Honor 20 Pro and it is the flagship model that comes with powerful features. The price is expected to be around Rs. 46,000. The Honor 20 Pro comes with a 6.26 inch FHD+ IPS panel with a small punch hole at the top for the front-facing camera. The front-facing camera is 32MP with an f/ 2.0 aperture and on the rear Honor, 20 Pro is equipped with a quad-camera configuration. Firstly we have the 48MP primary camera with f/1.4 aperture and its a half-inch sensor and has OIS and EIS along with the AI feature, the secondary sensor is 16 MP super ultra-wide camera that has an f/ 2.2 aperture and got a 117-degree angle of view, then comes the 8MP telephoto lens with OIS and finally a fourth camera that is a 2MP Macro camera with f/ 2.4 aperture. Powering the Honor 20 Pro is the 7nm Kirin 980 chipset paired with the 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. The device is fuelled by a 4,000 mAh battery that will top up with a 22.5W Super Charger that is gonna charge the phone up to 50 percent in just 30 minutes.
The next phone lined up in the series is the regular Honor 20 and the phone is quite identical to the flagship model in terms of both features and design. It is also powered by the same 7nm Kirin 980 chipset paired with the 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The display is the same as the 20 Pro and in terms of camera, it still has the quad-camera setup. The battery comes with 3750 mAh and 22.5 W charger.
Honor 20 Lite
Then we have the Lite version of the 20 series that comes with a 6.21 inches FHD+ display and has the dewdrop notch under which a 32MP with an f/ 2.0 aperture selfie camera is housed. Powering the Honor 20 Lite is the Kirin 710 F chipset coupled with 4GB of Ram and 128GB of internal storage. On the rear, you get a triple camera set up. The primary camera is a 24MP sensor with an aperture of f / 1.8, the second camera is an 8MP ultra-wide sensor with an f/ 2.4 aperture and the 2MP depth-sensing camera. Pricing for this phone should be around Rs. 16,000.
Samsung Galaxy M40
Samsung is going to add another smartphone to the M series named as the M40. After launching some good phones to the M series at an aggressive price the M40 is going to be slightly expensive. The phone will have a 6.4 inches FHD+ AMOLED Infinity O- display which is Samsung’s word for the punch hole. The device will be launched on 11th June in India and since it is an M series phone we can expect the pricing for this device to be around Rs.20,000. If Samsung manages to hold the price below 20,000 it would be a great deal.
The device is powered by Snapdragon 675 and it will be the first phone from M series to have a Snapdragon chipset. It will come in two different variants of 6GB/64GB and 8GB/128GB of RAM and internal storage. The M40 is fuelled by a 4000 mAh battery.
Asus Zenfone 6
Asus Zenfone 6 was launched globally a few days ago and finally, the phone is all set to launch in India. This high-end device has been listed already on Flipkart and we can see the phone making its way to India in June. Asus Zenfone is also the first phone with a 48MP Selfie Camera and the pricing for the phone will be around Rs. 32,000
The device has a 6.4 inches NanoEdge display with the Corning Gorilla Glass protection and has the FHD+ resolution. It uses a unique mechanism for the selfie camera. The rear camera will work as the selfie camera thanks to the flip camera. Other than that, the device has a massive 5000 mAH battery that supports Qualcomm Quick Charge 4.0 and has Snapdragon 855 SoC paired with 8GB of RAM. The device is packed with the Qualcomm’s flagship 7nm Octa-Core chipset Snapdragon 855 with Kyro 450 CPU and Adreno 640.
Realme is planning to launch the second installment of its selfie-centric U series named Realme U2 along with the Realme X. The U series although being a selfie-centric phone series had success with the U1 and it is expected to be the same with the Realme U2.
